Change that lasts always has a structure underneath.

Not motivational coaching. A method built in 25 years of real business, refined with neuroscience and tested with hundreds of professional women.

Book 30 minutes with me

Not motivational theory: a training and consulting method built on awareness, legitimacy and responsibility.

I work with women entrepreneurs, executives and organisations starting from one clear assumption: leadership is not learned from manuals, it is built in the daily reality of business.

In over 25 years managing companies, teams and decision-making responsibility I have defined an approach based on concreteness, strategic vision and personal awareness.

A coach sits on one side of the table. I sit on both.

I get asked often, and the difference is not about who is better: it is about role. Coaching, by the definition of the profession itself, is a neutral partnership: the coach does not bring solutions and does not decide for you, because you are the expert on your own life. I have studied coaching and the discipline fascinates me, so I know what I am saying when I call it serious work done well by excellent people. It is not my job. I am not a self-employed professional who accompanies people: I am an entrepreneur. I founded three companies and I run them, so I hire, I promote, I say no, I sign contracts and balance sheets, and the risk is mine. When I work on how women grow I do not arrive from the outside: I have been the woman who had to earn her legitimacy, and I am the one who now, on the other side of the table, decides who moves up.

A professional who accompaniesAn entrepreneur who leads
The roleA neutral self-employed professional. The job is to help you find your own answers, not to give you theirs: that is the definition of the profession.Someone who makes the decisions. I run three companies: I had to find the answers and then sign them, with my own money and about the people I hired.
Which side of the tableOne side only: the side that listens.Both. I know what it feels like to ask for a promotion, and I know what is said in the room after she leaves, because I chair that room.
Who carries the riskIt stays with you, or with the company. The professional brings their time and their expertise. It is mine too. Payroll, contracts, bad hires: when a decision about people does not work, I pay for it first.
What remainsA programme and your own awareness.Decisions taken, a 30 and 90-day plan, outputs HR can read and file.

If you are looking for a neutral space to think in, a good coach is worth the money and I am not that person. If you are looking for someone who has already taken those decisions inside her own company, and knows what they cost, let us talk.

Corporate programs

For companies that mean it

For HR managers, directors and the C-suite. If you are looking for a motivational keynote for your convention, I am not the right person. If you want someone who enters the organisation, understands what is really not working and builds with you a path that leaves measurable results, let us talk. I work across Italy on inclusive leadership, women's empowerment, organisational bias and human capital development.

Personal programs

For women who already lead and want to lead better

I work with entrepreneurs and executives who already have something to run: a company, a team, a budget, and want to grow without losing themselves in the process. It is not therapy and it is not motivational coaching. It is a structured path, with method, inside a community of women who understand what you are talking about because they are in it too.

The experience that generates change.

Inclusive leadership

Leading diverse teams is a skill, not an abstract value. We work on how differences in perspective become a decision-making advantage, and on how to build environments where talent, anyone's, can express itself without stereotype filters.

Women’s empowerment

«Empowerment» is a word worn out by overuse. What I do is concrete: I work on skills, on presence, on the ability to claim legitimacy in contexts that have historically rewarded other models. Results are measured in career advancements, not in sentiment.

Bias and stereotypes

Unconscious biases are not a cultural problem: they are a business problem. They influence hiring, promotions, resource allocation. Bringing them to the surface, with scientific tools, not with generic awareness campaigns, is the first step towards fairer and more competitive organisations.

ESG and human capital

The social dimension of ESG is a strategic asset for modern organisations. Inclusive culture, fairness and human capital development become central elements for reputation, attractiveness and long-term results.

Training as an entrepreneurial experience.

My work runs through three companies operating in training and consulting nationwide: Ubloom, a benefit corporation for training and organisational development; Effetto Formazione, an accredited training agency; HERvolution, a women's empowerment platform for companies.

It is the experience of someone who delivers training and runs it as a business: classroom and balance sheets, not just classroom.

Frequently asked questions.

Are you a coach?+

No, although I have studied coaching and the discipline fascinates me. The difference is not one of style: it is one of role. A coach is a self-employed professional who accompanies you and who, by the definition of the profession, does not decide for you. I am an entrepreneur: I founded three companies and I run them, I hire, I promote, I sign contracts and I answer for the numbers. I sit on both sides of the table, the side of the woman asking to grow and the side of the person who decides who grows. It is not a judgement on coaching: it is a different job.

What is the Paola Palmesano method?+

An approach to women's leadership built in 25 years of business: we start from decisions, not emotions, every program produces a measurable output, and we work on the exact career points where the female pipeline breaks. In short: method, not motivation.

How is it different from motivational coaching?+

A motivational day leaves energy for a week. A method leaves behaviours: decisions taken, 30 and 90-day plans, results HR can measure. Feeling follows doing, not the other way around.

Who do you work with?+

With companies (HR, people management, C-suite) through training and consulting, and with women entrepreneurs and executives through individual programs and the IO SONO community.

How do we start?+

With a free 30-minute call: we understand the problem, then you receive a proposal with clear formats, outputs and costs.
